Health Clinic - For Kids and Adults
The Central Georgia Technical College (USA) and Kingstown Baptist Church - in collaboration with the SVG Community College Nursing Programme, Nutrition Unit and the Trinity School of Medicine are hosting a unique health fair that caters for children (pre-teens) in a big way. The team is offering a Teddy Bear Clinic catering for up to 300 children.

Using teddy bears as props, children will be taught healthy personal care habits, engage in health checks and coached to not be afraid of doctors, nurses and associated health procedures.

Adults/Parents/Youths will have the benefit of free basic health checks and counseling, and an opportunity to check in on the spiritual health booth. Also, the volume of salt/sugar in popular children snacks will be on display.

In addition, the visiting team will engage in inter-cultural dialogue.
This community event is set for Saturday 13th January at the Kingstown Baptist Church grounds, Garden’s Gate, Old Montrose, from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM.

All are invited. It is Free!
